Wake Tech Architectural Technology is a program that prepares individuals to assist architects, engineers, and construction professionals in developing plans and related documentation for residential and commercial projects in both the private and public sectors. Includes instruction in architectural drafting, computer-assisted drafting, construction materials and methods, environmental systems, codes and standards, structural principles, cost estimation, planning, graphics, and presentation.
Our Architectural certificates are designed for students employed full-time in architectural engineering or construction positions that require computer knowledge. Courses include basic, hands-on architectural drafting courses in residential and commercial construction and computer courses in different types of computer-aided drafting, building information modeling and rendering software from basic to advanced levels.
